New Community Learning Centers Proposed
Rudolf Steiner College is pleased to announce its participation in the development of Foundation Studies that will be offered in local communities throughout the United States. Community Learning Centers will provide a new educational opportunity for people interested in furthering their understanding of Waldorf education and anthroposophy. Workshop presenters include: Robert Anderson, Ph.D.; Thomas Cowan, M.D.; Jane Healy, Ph.D.; Anna Rainville, M.A.; Bonnie River, M.Ed.; Rosario Villisana Ruiz, M.A.; Astrid Schmitt-Stegmann, M.A.; Ingun Schneider; Penni Sparks; Shawn Sullivan, MFCC; Marcy Summers, M.A., and others.
Jane Healy, Ph.D., is an award-winning internationally recognized authority on brain development and has been an educational psychologist and educator for more than 35 years. Her major research focus is finding practical application of current brain research for teachers and parents. Her books include: Your Child's Growing Mind; Endangered Minds-Why Children Don't Think and What We Can Do About It; and Failure to Connect-How Computers Affect Our Children's Minds.
